Materials:
DK yarn in one or more colours of choice.
Purple, and blue sample squares is made with Gjestal bomull sport.
Hook size 3,5 mm or hook to obtain gauge.
Yardage: about 15 m.
Rnd 1: about 2 m Rnd 3-4: about 6 m
Rnd 2: about 3 m Rnd 5: about 3 m
Gauge: 4 sc measures about 2 cm.
One square measures about 8,5 x 8,5 cm- 9 x 9 cm
Abbrevations:
Dc = double crochet
Lp(s) = loop(s)
Sc = single crochet
Sp(s) = space(s)
Ss = slip stitch
St(s) = stitch(es)
Yo = yarn over

Beg 2dc cl = Beginning 2 dc cluster:

2dc cl = 2 dc cluster:
Yo, insert hook in sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, insert hook in same sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, pull through all 3 lps on hook.
Beg 4dc cl = Beginning 4 dc cluster:
Ch 2, Yo, insert hook in same sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, insert hook in next sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, insert hook in same sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, pull through all 4 lps on hook.

Note: In rnd 2 it will only be worked in the ch-2 sps from rnd 1. In rnd 3 it will only be worked in the ch-4 sps from rnd 2.

Instructions
Rnd 1) In magic ring: Beg 2dc cl, ch 2, *2dc cl, ch 2* 7 times. Join with a ss at top of beg 2dc cl. (=8 ch-2 sps).
Rnd 2) Ss to first ch-2 sp. Beg 4dc cl, ch 4, *4dc cl, ch 4* 7 times. The last 4 dc cl has its ”second leg” in the first ch-2 sp. Join with a ss at top of beg 4dc cl. (= 8 ch-4 sps).
Rnd 3) Ss to first ch-4 sp. Ch 1, 4 sc in ch-4 sp, ch 1, *(4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc) (corner made), ch 1, 4 sc in ch-4 sp, ch 1* 3 times, (4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc), ch 1, join with ss to first sc. (= 16 sc, 16 dc, 4 ch-3 sps).
Rnd 4) Ch 1, sc in same st, 3 sc, *skip ch-1 sp, 3 sc, skip next st, 5 sc in ch-3 sp, skip next st, 3 sc, skip ch-1 sp, 4 sc* 3 times, skip ch-1 sp, 3 sc, skip next st, 5 sc in ch-3 sp, skip next st, 3 sc, skip next ch-1 sp, join with ss to first sc. (= 60 sc).
Rnd 5) Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in next 8 sts, 3 sc in next st (corner), *sc in next 14 sts, 3 sc in next st (corner)* 3 times, sc in next 5 sts, join with a ss to first sc. (= 68 sc).
Finish off. Weave in ends.
